Ms. Wells is a partner in the firm of Kennedy, Moulton & Wells, P.C. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of employment, civil rights and governmental entity representation. She obtained a B.A. with majors in English and Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico in 1977 and her M.A. in English literature from the University of New Mexico in 1986. She received a J.D. from the University of New Mexico, where she served as the managing editor of the New Mexico Law Review. Ms. Wells has been in private practice in Albuquerque since her admission to practice law in New Mexico in 1989. She is Past President of the Albuquerque Bar Association and a fellow of the Center for Civic Values. She is a current member of the State Bar of New Mexico and she serves on their Specialization Committee for the Employment and Labor Law, the American Bar Association and the Tenth Circuit Judicial Conference. She is admitted to practice before all New Mexico state courts, the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Wells is a frequent lecturer on various topics in employment law, civil rights and governmental entity representation.
